Hi there, I'm Sheila
1 part scientific to 1 part spiritual
You could say my love of health and wellness started in childhood helping my family out at local farmers markets. In college, I received my bachelor’s of science in nutrition and then my master’s in physician assistant studies where I have worked for the last 9 years in obesity medicine, urgent care, and most recently in mental health.
Early in my career, I discovered my favorite ‘cup filling’ part of being a PA was guiding patients to their own ‘aha’ moments in changing their behavior. Through thousands of patient visits, I have seen what works and doesn’t work in helping others change their behaviors and ultimately their health.
Personally, I have been through my own struggles with changing habits so I get how challenging it can be. This combination of personal experience with a medical background gives me a unique perspective and approach in helping you on your path to healthier behaviors.
